  1. We make quite a few components of the F35 here. Excellent aircraft, we should be buying even more.

  5. Spending lots of money on fancy jets sounds cool but they’re struggling to recruit and keep people in. Having the best aircraft is good but we’re still not an effective military that would struggle against a decent military.

  9. Why? The typhoon is far superior. It would be done with the mission whilst they were still on the ground troubleshooting the F-35.

  11. F35s are a phenomenal aircraft, that’s mostly made in Britain, that has just recently shat all over Iran’s air defense system.

  13. Can we spend the money on hospitals? We already have the ability to nuke millions, how much more killing shit do we need?

    USA have control over it..

    Where we can use it..
    They get access to all data that should be British classified…
    We pay them for the maintaining..

    Oh and I am very sure they have an off switch.

    If Britain were to ever have beef with USA.. our airforce would disappear by a switch.

    Our airforce is now beholden to a foreign power.
