You know, the main point of the article aside, this makes me ponder what the outside world can or should actually do about a country like this. How do you convince a nation in a perpetual cycle of crippling corruption not to do that? I’m not convinced that some of the places like this on earth aren’t just going to remain generally crap places for the foreseeable next couple centuries.
Sentencing kids from ages 14 to 17 to DEATH? Who even does this? And they are literally protesting against something that is a real problem. Also wow that is some gross mistreatment of prisoners especially kids. What is with the world nowadays
