Yeah we all know the red mafia CGT litteraly killed the Marseille port that was once the first in Europe. Sad but over told story.
The Netherlands first and second like usual!
Isn’t Piraeus way further south?
Our gift to the northerners.
Transport our stuff, that’s all you’re capable of.
How are Rotterdam and Antwerp both so massive, I’m guessing that’s mainly stuff between Europe and North America?
We have the biggest yacht port at La Rochelle. We don’t like to work, just sail for pleasure.

Gioia Tauro huh?
Why I’m not surprised?
Le Havre should be there
I’m truly wondering why Gioia Tauro is up there.. who knows
anyways, I’m glad Ciro is making my snow shipments arrive on time
The state of port management in France is absolutely catastrophic, this is what happens when you let a caste of high-ranking bureaucrats from the same background and the same school run things. They sniff each other’s ass, swap positions, make a pile of money on the back of the taxpayer, bankrupt institutions and never answer for their incompetence. Worst of all, it’s happening all over the country. France is a country of caste. Add to that nepotism, corruption and incompetence and you get France 2024. It’s fucking tragic.
What about “PORT”ugal that country is like 90% coast and not one port worth a damn. WTF Joaoa?
Fellow pigs wtf!I thought that the sea was our thing whats next olive oil from Berlin?
>has 4800 km coastline
Bro is not aware of the coastline paradox
This is more embarrassing for my country tbf, im ashamed at the lack of investment into sea ports when i live on a fucking island.
They haven’t recovered from St Nazaire getting bombed by British commandos I’d imagine
I didn’t know Rotterdam was somewhere between Zwolle en Deventer
Once again, mission accomplished: ahead of France.
This comment section is genuinely impressive, it’s like all the boat nerds got assembled at once.
We have already the biggest military port in Europe. We can’t have all
Why should we be mad? You have great ports good for you. We are still your first trading partner, belgian fella
There are huge seaports like Marseille or le Havre. We just have shitty dockers & management who never took the automation step like Rotterdam or Antwerp did.
Can we just marvel at barry’s tanking?? Former great power blabla britannia ruling the seas blablabla and now look at fhem
Ε βέβαια, γιατι ολα ξερουμε ότι ο Πειραιάς στην Καβαλα είναι….
We barely have sea access and still beat everyone but Spain. Common German W.
Spain beat us but our economy is still better. Another common German W.
Edit: Nvm, we’re number 1 if you add up the numbers. Very obvious in hindsight.
How does anyone live with such a small amount of coastline? I don’t understand…
That’s simply not true, Le Havre is 6th and Marseille 9th ?
It’s still not that impressive but at least it’s true
Well, the problem is, if someone were to unload their goods in France they’d have to deal with French people.
Imagine being below Greece lol, couldn’t be us.
Maybe it’s too much trouble to dig a channel to Paris?
Not surpised that the netherlands and belgium have the best port, the best thing to do in their country is to leave, so they have to handle a lot of trafic
Given our coastline quality, I don’t mind having other countries destroy their environment for us to benefit from it !
LMAO who’s the genius who made that map? Some west/north European Greek expert probably. They’re so familiar with the country the moved Piraeus from Attica to Thrace.
shit post based on annual containers instead of cargo tonnage, suck bollzzzz
