Firstly, Westminster funding was never anything other than a bullshit excuse for the abject failure of the Welsh government and anyone that thought otherwise was/is a dimwitted rube.
Secondly, the HS2 funding issue is the biggest cope ever. Honestly, the idea that the serious problems that affect Wales are caused by England building a rail project or can be resolved with £3 billion is absolutely batshit insane.
Wales has serious, deep-seated political and cultural dysfunction that needs the kind of self reflection that only a reckoning with reality that independence can provide.
