Climate skeptics are hatching big plans for a second Trump term. They are laying the groundwork to bring back coal-fired power plants, gut science at the EPA and neuter the modeling used in the federal government’s national climate assessment. “Everything Biden did will be looked at.”

1. Do their plans involve stopping fracking? Coal is not coming back otherwise.

2. Trump is tilting at windmills, literally. The US cannot revert back to a darker, dirtier time and expect to compete or survive.

   Let’s hope the cult loses on Tuesday, for the sake of the country, the world and democracy.

3. Republicans conveniently leave out that fracking killed coal, not Democrats.

4. A little above 9 percent of the U.S. energy is coal. It’s already going away.

5. I think that the chances of a second Trump term are decreasing every hour leading up to Election Day.

6. Didn’t they already try this? And coal was a much bigger part of the power mix back in 2016.
