  1. Maybe it’s some kind of track for training with horses and a carriage?
You see them sometimes on the highway with a kind of carriage on the back of the truck.

  2. Id guess horse track, it’s private terrain so 🤷‍♂️

  3. Training ground for horses who are going to races

  4. Check streetview zoom in and you can see the horse trailers. Horse track.

  5. it could be a velodrome, an arena for racing bikes to do laps in, and the way that right road is angled might suggest it could be used as the end or starting point of an intercity race

  6. there’s a horsetrack in Tongeren and there’s a lot more buildings around. Stables etc. This looks so clean and also narrower

  7. That’s crazy, I went on a trip in that area just today. To Scherpenheuvel and Schoonderbuken, right across from there. I saw it on the map too, it’s clearly a horse racing ring. As further evident by the stables on the south side. Horses are very popular in the countryside. The funny thing is it’s even a bit controversial in Flanders, how much agricultural land is going to horses (referred to in Dutch as “verpaarding”). I personally don’t care much about it either way, but that’s how I immediately knew it was probably for horses.

  8. The cheap Scalextric set I got for Christmas when I thought I was getting Race ‘n Chase. 🙁

  9. But they were, all of them, deceived, for another Ring was made.

  10. At first it looked a part of it was a road, but the gray part is an overlay on Google maps. Both connecting roads are also not official roads and the track seeems to be lighted.

it’s not too far from where I live, maybe I could explore it tomorrow. xD

  11. You have the Nurburgring, and you have the schonerbukenring…

  12. In tielt winge (where this is) are quite a bit of horseriders, this most likely is a horse track, or atleast for horses to walk on peacefully
