Can you ride on these as ‘fares’? How do you know in advance when these take place?
Ah I drove past the 43 today and wondered what was going on, amazing!
Ah I miss these buses. Used to get them to college. If I missed it at the bus stop, I could jump on it at the traffic lights. I’d sit at the top right at the back and listen to my Discman. My music used to skip when we went over any potholes 😂
I loved the hop on/off models. Safety, BAH humbug
Did they remember to pay the ULEZ charge.
Saw the 271 and was really confused
Yank here who lived in London in the 80’s. Memories!
Lovely looking old buses.
Wish I experienced London back in those days
When I was kid, I remember hopping on those buses back in the day in Islington
Who pays for the preservation of these buses, and these day outs? Are the buses sold to private firms to use them, like at weddings and such?
Does anyone know how to find out when these heritage buses will be doing their journeys in future? I’ve also seen some in the past going up Haverstock Hill but it’s always a surprise. Would love to take a bus-mad child on one sometime soon.
There was also a 210 coach going to Brent Cross and back.
