Are the Esterhazys still a big shot in Hungary? In Austria they belong to the richest families of the country, they own huge estates (about 40 000 hectares of forest, 12 000 hectares of water areas, 5600 hectares of agricultural land, 90 hectares of vineyards), 3 castles and 9 companies. Unfortunately, they were not expropriated after the end of the monarchy.
