During an Israeli military operation last week the water and sewage network in Nur Shams camp in the [#WestBank](https://x.com/hashtag/WestBank?src=hashtag_click) were destroyed.

UNRWA sanitation workers have stepped up to fix these systems, which are vital for the wellbeing of the 14,000 Palestine Refugees who live in the camp.

As always, [#UNRWAworks](https://x.com/hashtag/UNRWAworks?src=hashtag_click) to fulfil the mandate given to us by the UN General Assembly – the international community – whatever the challenges.

Our office in the camp was also bulldozed. The building, which was the hub of our work there, is now unusable and will have to be demolished.

In Nur Shams and across the region, our services encompass learning for children, health, sanitation, and social protection. We will continue to deliver on our mandate.

  3. Actions have consequences and the Lebanese people will find out that Israel can be worse to deal with than Hezbollah. Words words words words words words words words

  4. >Nihad Shaweesh, an official in Nur Shams, said soldiers had searched dozens of homes, questioned residents and took up positions in residential buildings.

Mhmmmmmm. Where did i see that before.

    >Mr. Lazzarini said that Israeli military bulldozers had destroyed part of the agency’s offices, a claim echoed by local officials. But the Israeli military issued a firm denial. Lt. Col. Nadav Shoshani, a military spokesman, said that Palestinian militants had placed explosives near the building and detonated them in an attempt to harm Israeli soldiers.

    >Colonel Shoshani said, dismissing Mr. Lazzarini’s statement as “terrorist propaganda.”

Ofcourse it is. The west bank is the most obvious evidence that israel is not actually seeking peace nor that their target is hamas.
