GPA for each semester of an undergraduate STEM degree at a US public university.
Between semester 4 and 5 I started having partial seizures which killed my memory. In hindsight this is obvious but at the time I didn’t realize.
Using Matlab to create this is like using a Ferrari to commute one block in Manhattan
Let me guess… you got a girlfriend
Not knowing the context, I’d say it’s about a student who coasted through high school without much effort, only to hit a wall in university when the academic demands intensified and they realized they were not as naturally gifted as they once thought.
Is this your cumulative running GPA or individual semester GPAs?
Atleast you did well at your GenEds, haha.

That’s pretty much a graph of my ‘i’m a gifted kid, I don’t need to study!’ grades from 1st to senior year in college. It wasn’t until my early 30s that I realized there are some subjects and work skills that won’t just come to my by osmosis.

Maybe add more data points by making it not overall, but instead individual class archetypes. “History, STEM, etc” then there would be helpful data to pull what you excelled and struggled with. You might have to add additional points if it breaks up the line by just keeping it at the same level between gaps of a type of class.
Looks like they went over the word “beautiful” in semester six

Cumilative is what matters.
