  4. Because conservative media controls the political narrative and conservative media says Biden’s economy sucks. I’ll conclude this by noting that there is no liberal media, and like with newspapers, TV news follows the biggest network: i e. Fox News.

    While I know we’d be worse off with trumps policies, this game is still drastically and fundamentally broken.

  7. Because everything but gas is still hyper expensive and any law ever written called X turns out to be opposite of what it is intended to solve. Case in point the patriot act, the inflation reduction act, etc. Government went so far as to redefine the word inflation to rising prices to shift the blame. Inflation is and will always be caused be increasing the money supply and eroding our purchasing power.  The Coke party is greedy and wants us to all be slaves and the Pepsi party wants us all to be dependent on itself for its own musings. Democracy has failed because the masses are too dumb to know what is truly good for them, the only thing to look forward to is the pine box in the ground IF you can afford that.

  10. Have to read through 1/4 of propaganda to finally get to the first concrete project — Bluebird electric School busses. Where are they going to get the batteries? Two corporations in China (BYD and CATL) dominate over 52% of the entire EV battery market now. There are several other Chinese battery manufacturers (Tesla batteries are made in China). South Korea and Japan have significant percentages. There is a US drone manufacturing company in the US supplying Ukraine which China just sanctioned so they no longer have any batteries! Sounds like money-laundering to me.

    Then it goes on to blame Clinton and make excuses for Obama. The Obamacare fraud isn’t mentioned. The tone changes to “TRUMP! — OMG!”

    The claim that Biden’s administration intended to abandon neoliberalism rings very hollow — WTF is Ukraine all about. Neoliberalism is just a synonym for American Empire and American Hegemony. All this happy talk about fixing the economy is betrayed by the “Jewish Supremacist” (note the Zionists who make up the Biden Administration) efforts to “contain China” and stop BRICS.

    Biden’s ARP is blamed for inflation. As Wolff and Hudson explain, Inflation happens when the Oligarchy decides to raise prices — period. Nixon stopped inflation with price controls, Biden let the oligarchy steal American Wealth. Something that is continuing with the huge deficits and the ever rising debt. Who buys those bonds the Treasury issues? The Oligarchy. It is like living your life on your credit card and finding yourself never able to pay it off. Americans are silently being saddled with debt that they will owe to the Oligarchy for generations to come. Biden has sold Americans into indentured servitude.

    Halfway through this boring excuse for a report on the economy, we review history of keeping GM and Chrysler in business. How’d that work out — now that Biden is proposing 100% tariffs on BYD EVs that are cheaper and better made than anything in the USA. Ford reportedly lost $50,000 on every EV it sold this year. That’s 2x what a BYD car costs in China!

    The infrastructure bill is suppose to build bridges… How’s that Key bridge in Baltimore coming? China would have had it rebuilt already.

    OK, just past halfway, can’t go on reading this rubbish. The only concrete project was Bluebird.

    The suggested theme revolves around better “planning” and “coordination” in industry. Gee, which economy in the world has been doing that now for decades? Which economy last had a recession in 1976? Which economy has lifted 800M people out of poverty?

    Of note: the IRA has been used to lure European industry to the US with generous subsidies. The TSMC plant in AZ is not “top-of-the-line” and it still isn’t producing anything. The US can’t build artillery shells to come close to matching Russia. Iran has new Russian Air Defense systems that totally nullified Israel’s first wave that was suppose to destroy that AD, so the following two waves were aborted.

    The concluding sentence:

    There is no difference. The Oligarchy runs both parties. The Oligarchy owns the MSM that prints this drivel. The Oligarchy finances the “Think Tanks” that explain away their failures and proposes new frauds for their continued corruption. The Oligarchy greed brought us BRICS and dedollarization. The Oligarchy will continue to squeeze and squeeze and squeeze until there is nothing left but a vague memory of the power the USA once had to bring peace but instead chose war.

  11. Because 40 years of conservative economic policy has transferred ownership of everything away from working people, and so we are now observers of this economy rather than participants in it.
