Unmanned systems have moved to the forefront of the war in Ukraine. A variety of drones, developed by Ukraine or provided by partner countries, are used to destroy Russian equipment and soldiers, monitor the battlefield, conduct reconnaissance, and fight enemy drones.

Many western companies are using Ukraine to field test their technologies. If it works there they have a better chance of selling it.
