  1. Yeah no. They’re just banking on you chickening out at the mention of legal action.

  2. But were you their client?
It seems you’re not criticizing their service, but rather making unfounded allegations on behalf of some third party. And “review bombing” IS defamatory by nature.

  3. Rule one of suing. If you want to sue someone, you don’t threaten them first. You just sue. If you have no plans to sue you use it as a scare tactic, hoping you’ll get your way for free.

  4. Immigration agencies aka human traffickers? They won’t do nothing about your review. They don’t want to bring attention to their “business”.

  5. Ignore it. And update the review to also include they give threats on negative reviews.

    They can’t do shit.

Save every correspondence with them in case they try and do “smart” stuff. If they call, you are obliged by EU regulations to inform you record the conversation.

I had a company threatening me with “legal actions” for a two-star review with negative criticism. So I updated the review to one star and included they came with threats.
Then they called me, in which I new them by number. So I replied instantly telling them that the call would be recorded for the intention of proof in legal actions.
The guy was fuming, and it didn’t make it better when I told him I knew he was 55yrs old and asked him to act older than a teenager.
They continued with threats on SMS, in which I replied would be nice to have in a court case should anything happen in the near future.

    Fun times.

  6. To give us their name, so we can accompany you 🙂

  7. It is funny to see that they used same thing you accused them in the review.

  8. Posting false reviews and “review bombing” is a crime in many countries, particularly “Western” ones. You cannot, legally, “review a service” you never actually reviewed/received. Particularly, hearsay, also comes into play in many municipalities and this type of conduct actually constitutes defamation and other infractions in most countries. Sadly, they’re right. LEGAL DISCLAIMER: This does not constitute free legal advice, for legal advice we recommend strongly that all individuals involved in disputes retain competent, local, legal council.

  9. F them, if they are a bulshit firm they deserve a negative 1 star review

  10. pls share company name, i’d like to leave a review…..

  11. ~~That is very common with google reviews. The business owners are the actual customers of google so the reviews get removed at a whim, you (the reviewer) are a nobody, but sometimes they (business) will just threaten you. Scumery of the highest sort.~~

Edit: Scrap that, now I see it’s facebook.

  12. OP, when commenting publicly on a business you should describe your own negative experience. Here you describe a situation that you witnessed happening to someone else and nothing about how your visit went. I think in this case the businesses is making a valid point.
