    The real takeaway from this election for us Europeans is that we need to get our shit together and finally strengthen our military in unison.

  26. I’m more of a ‘wait and see’ attitude. Yes, it’s probably going to be shittier living over in savage land than it already is, but no matter who’s president they’re not exactly good for Europe. Beside the Ukrainian situation I’m mostly worried about US being more and more hostile to China and trying to drag Europe into a potential big conflict – or at least stop trading with China. If I’m being cautiously optimistic, European leaders might now be more compelled to remove themselves from the currently co-dependent relationship with our brain-damaged cousins over there and start to build up our own defense and take on a more neutral position in world politics.

  28. I mean isn’t really that surprising tbh. The result could be seen for months now so I don’t understand how are people surprised by this. I hope that this will serve as a wake up call for Europe to actually start to do something instead of relying on America so much. But in the end nothing will be made as usual, I’ve seen this movie play out too many times.
