Global warming nears 1.5°C threshold, escalating health risks worldwide

2. Forget about 1.5, we’re looking at a +4°C future.

4. trump winning is a disaster environmentally, we are stuck on a sinking ship with people actively trying to accelerate our trip to the bottom

5. We’re going to smash 1.5C. The narrative and concern now needs to shift to by how much.

8. It’s past 1.5C per Jacobson, Kevin Anderson and others. 2025 will be the first full year over 1.5C

9. Meh, at this point anyone who could do anything to help slow or reverse it has just refused or not done enough.

   Time to just accelerate it so we get it over with faster and not suffer longer.

   At least with humans gone the earth can get back to its normal self.

10. Hearing a lot of people saying we are toast. Now is the time to take some action here. We can still mitigate. Mitigation is better than throwing our hands up
