Context: I’m a Ukrainian living in Canada and out of curiosity tuned into RT to see what “the other side” is being presented with. I know some countries have taken RT offline, but haven’t seen anything about Finland.
Finland hasn’t banned RT but at least two major cable tv operators have decided to stop broadcasting it.
It would be idiotic to block it. More damage than gain. Everyone should have the right to make their own decisions. If RT is canceled or blocked, it’s the same thing we are blaming Russia and China for.
I’m pretty sur it’s not banned, I tested and I can still open the RT website. However, Finnish TV operators have stopped working with RT.
RT is not banned, as I think it shouldnt be with the free media and all, but two of three major cable companies (the market share is like 33/33/33) blocked RT and the music channel RU TV so you cannot watch those channels anymore from the tv
I cannot access rt.com due to them having new DDos service that is not working. Well done.
Well they just showed that they can’t be trusted with that lie. Some private companies have decided to stop their broadcasting/streaming/offering/deal/etc with RT.
I don’t care. I don’t watch it. To me it is like my butthole. It is there, but I don’t watch it.
