Last week, it was revealed that 8 acts remained in the race to represent Austria in Eurovision 2025.

Ever since 2017, Austria has selected its Eurovision act internally.
Once again, the search and sorting will be led by ORF’s Eurovision scouts.
In recent years, Eberhard Forcher has led the project alongside Peter Schreiber.

The submission window closed on the 15th of September 2024.
The Eurovision 2025 entry will be selected through live auditions in multiple rounds.
The format involved ORF’s management, Eurovision fan clubs, and an expert jury.
Currently, 8 songs remain in consideration to represent Austria in Basel.

Lately, Austrian magazine kleinezeitung revealed a partial list of artists who might represent the country in Eurovision 2025.
Before diving into details, we will add a disclaimer: This isn’t an official report coming form ORF
