I once ordered some Fairy washing up liquid, which got substituted for a set of pink Flamingo fairy lights. They are so tacky I couldn’t help but love them. I still have them up.

Its only ever happened to me once. Instead of a Heinz seriously good mayo, I got 2 bottles of their cheapest own brand variety.
I’ve never had anything like this from Tesco. I know Asda were quite notorious for it at one point.
And I have quite often got more expensive versions in place of own brand stuff (although in most cases I prefer the own brand ones).
