Gangland shootout in western France leaves five minors injured • FRANCE 24 English

France’s struggle with drug-related violence is at a “tipping point” after a bloody shootout gravely wounded one teenager and left four more hurt, Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau said Friday. Police were called out around 10:45 pm (2145 GMT) on Thursday night in response to gunshots outside a restaurant in a working-class neighbourhood of western city Poitiers, a security source said.

  2. Will it become like Sweden? In a land which used to be one of the safest in the world theese kind of shootings and bombattacks ate so common now a days they hardly make it to the news any more.

  6. If France would just get with the rest of the world and regulate drugs, instead of fighting them, there would be no profit in this. So many people are ready to blame "parallel" societies, which is simply a nice way of saying immigrants. You have to take the profit out of crime to defeat it.
