Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) brought a trade mission of Virginia companies to Prague on October 15-17, 2024. The mission focused primarily on the defense and cybersecurity sectors and visited the Future Forces Forum Prague conference, but also brought additional segments such as the construction sector. Trade mission participants included the following companies:

Alchemco, a producer of concrete waterproofing systems
ByLight, a defense and commercial contractor with focus in cyber, simulations and training, and digital services
Domo Tactical Communications (DTC), a radio solutions provider of short-range, high-bandwidth communications
Spanalytics, a provider of security solutions for the Internet of Things
Valkyrie Enterprises, a provider of advanced engineering services and technology solutions to support United States´ warriors and allies.

Ambassador Sabet hosted a reception in honor of VEDP trade mission to Prague on October 17. He highlighted the connections between Virginia and Czechia in his speech. “While attention is often placed on the work we do at the national level, it’s always a pleasure to shine a spotlight on the valuable contributions made by our states and cities.  Delegations like Virginia’s enhance and amplify the embassy’s efforts to strengthen the bonds between our nations.”
