Belongs in prison for a very long time.
If the case was as reported hard to argue with Her Majesty’s pleasure ruling. If this kid is found guilty of murder.
The justice system has effectively decriminalised ‘low level’ disorder. In Liverpool, and I imagine elsewhere, it’s been escalating for years with gangs of feral kids causing trouble, antagonising people, starting fights in the maccies, basically taking over areas and daring people to stand up to them. Then everyone acts shocked when it then escalates into little lasses getting stabbed in the neck
These kids have never had any real, lasting, consequences for their bad behaviour. The parents don’t give a shit, let them run free as soon as they can find their way home, maybe give them a beating if they’re in a bad mood which of course improves the kids no end! We’re on the 3rd/4th generation of kids who’ve never had a real positive influence in their lives.
The Police do nothing of value, maybe put up a dispersal order for a few nights every now and again to ‘show they take the communities concerns seriously’. Maybe take the kids home only for the parents to kick them out again, right back into the hands of the street culture that glorifies violence and crime.
