  15. For those wondering why many countries don’t want to be called Eastern Europe: it’s objectively the trashiest part of Europe, mostly because of retarded, brainwashed, uneducated, arrogant, traumatized and corrupt people. And yes, my country clearly is part of that.

  20. I might find some humor in not leading Baltic States anymore, but today we’ve had the worst kind of death – young pregnant lady (unvaxxed). Luckily, baby was cut out while she was sick and seems to be in good condition.

  24. With countries like Romania you gotta wonder if it wouldn’t have been better if they got some high initial infection waves. Delta is just so much worse and it’s hitting a largely unprotected population there.

  34. High vaccination rates = low number of covid deaths. Plain and simple. The vaccines work. They save lives.

    Sadly some eastern European countries are suffering the consequences of not convincing their people to vaccinate.

  40. Now that people die because hospitals are full antivaxxxers staring vaccination but not getting it because it’s physically impossible to vaccinate everyone suddenly. Ironic AF.

  42. I don’t know how to feel bad about this…My grandparent literally says “Why should I get vaccinated, I don’t have much left to live anyway.” And that’s so common among older people. It is a manipulation tactic but when one is in a hospital or dying on their way there, I wonder how they feel when you got free vaccines thrown at you since spring and couldn’t be bothered or even cared about getting it.

    And obviously, there were faults made by the government by not informing enough people, we also lack resources to visit everyone to get their vaccines, not a perfect state but I don’t believe that 40% of people are not able-bodied enough to get to a hospital or supermarket…

    It is like a war for hospital staff but I just can’t make myself to be sad for the majority of infected unvaxxed people. :/

  43. Well, I finally have a close family member in the statistics here in NL. Fully vaccinated too. Just one week from diagnosis to death.

    At least he wasn’t in much pain or discomfort and passed in his sleep, that is something at least.
