  1. Slide 1: Poltimore Tiara – was sold off in an auction after Margaret’s death by her children. This was not from the Queens collection or her mother’s rather bought for her wedding.

Slide 2: Turquoise Tiara – speculated to have been returned to the vault

Slide 3 : The Lotus Flower Tiara last seen on Sophie in 2024 and worn by Kate as well.

Slide 4: The Cartier halo, also known for being Kate’s wedding tiara

Slide 5: Empress Maria Feodorovna’s Sapphire Bandeau/ Queen Mary’s Sunray Bandeau. Where it ended up is unknown could be in the vaults, could be in the possession of her children or sold off in a private auction similar to below.

Slide 6: Queen Mary’s Diamond Lozenge Tiara – where it ended was unknown until recently but apparently Queen Azizah’s Diamond Bandeau Tiara is likely Margaret’s. Margaret had not worn it since the late 1960s. Apparently according to the Royal Watcher Blog In 1988, Princess Chulabhorn of Thailand saw a Diamond Bandeau Tiara for sale in New York City and told the then Tengku Puan (Crown Princess) Azizah to buy the Tiara, which was soon shipped off to Malaysia.

Slide 7: wearing the Poltimore Tiara but the necklace is also a convertible Tiara known as the Teck Hoop Necklace Tiara. Margaret from my googling had not worn it as a Tiara. Speculated/Confirmed to be in possession of her son David Armstrong-Jones, 2nd Earl of Snowdon

Slide 8: not a tiara but the diamonds in the necklace were too big not to include

  2. Ooohhh never seen #5 before. I like the Sappire Bandeau style, hopefully it’s still around.

  3. I just looked at a post about her father before this and I didn’t realize just how much she favored him! She was a beauty!
