  5. This looks beautiful, one of those places you wish you get exiled to in 18th century

  6. We’re streaching the definition of “Europe” here a little.

  7. I’m here right now! Heading to number 3 and 4 because of your post. Thank you!

  8. Gorgeous pictures, Im surprised by how similar it looks to rural Wales. Only pic 4 wouldn’t fit in with Wales I reckon.

  9. The Azores is absolutely beautiful and a very chill place. I think fairly well travelled (25 countries) and it was the most underrated place I’ve been. You just never hear about it, at least in America. I went in August and the weather was perfect. Even if you just do Sao Miguel (the biggest and most populous island) for a few days, you will be well rewarded as there is just so much to see! Eco and geo tourism heaven! We just rented a car (the deposit for which was INSANE…like $1,500) and took our time and toured the island. It was also not an expensive trip (aside from the deposit which we got back…definite sticker shock).

  10. Wait, where’s the picture of the wold famous Azores High? We even had a bookshop (for travelling books) in Brussel named after it!

  11. Been there all inside water springs are closed because of the lack of rain food production is down by 75% can’t irigate your garden anymore ..

  12. Went there for honeymoon, such beauty.

Btw did you, Visit the hotel?

  13. The food there is to die for, just amazing, and friendly people too!

  14. Atlantis Mystery, from the Blake & Mortimer series, was discovered during a speleological expedition deep in the caves of the Azores.
