Lithuania will be broadcasting the final of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024.

LRT will be airing the final of the 22nd Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024 live from Madrid. The contest has moved from LRT to its secondary channel LRT Plius for this year. The broadcast of the final will be preceded by a 30 minute show titled ‘Half an hour until the “Mini Eurovision”‘ Lithuania is one of three non-participating broadcasters currently confirmed as airing the competition.

Lithuania has not participated in Junior Eurovision since 2011, initially withdrawing in 2012 due to the cost of broadcasting UEFA Euro 2012 and the 2012 Summer Olympics. LRT will examine whether it will take part in the 2025 contest after the 2024 contest in Madrid. LRT said in 2023 that a return to the contest would be dependent on ratings for the 2023 and 2024 contest.
