  12. I never thought i’d accept this but I think this is the play, with major caveats:

    – Ukraine joins EU as planned
    – Russia pays reparations at least partly (with their economy, no chance in hell they’ll be able to ever pay everything)
    – All/most sanctions stay until a change of regime in Russia
    – Russia ceases ALL hybrid operations and airspace breaches at least in Europe on the day of signing the deal. If they do a single hybrid operation, we smack them with sanctions. If they breach airspace with military aircraft, we are allowed to shoot them down (this might be a bit too much for some).

    I know this is asking a lot from Russia of all countries, but if they get to keep 20% of Ukrainian territory, the deal HAS TO RESULT IN A NET LOSS FOR RUSSIA, otherwise we’re just rewarding their aggression.

  14. The uk would have already agreed beforehand if this deal was seriously being discussed publically. I support foreign troops in Ukraine enough is enough Russia needs to calm down and be peaceful productive; not this imperial war crap that causes all this suffering for everyone involved.

    The NK troops will be in the DMZ. They have a lot of experience and practice. It will give some a chance to defect to Ukraine /s.

  32. Don’t agree with the US backing off of helping the Ukraine but Europe needs to do more to protect itself and bear the burden. This is a problem in their backyard and will continue to be if they don’t fund a strong deterrent military to counter Russia
