Oklahoma State University Extension Agent David Cantrell will provide an update the Pittsburg County Commissioners in the implementation of the “OSU Mobile Health Lab.”
Cantrell said, he will be discussing the Virtual Care van that will be parked at the Pittsburg County Farmers’ Market once a month for those who need medical services and providing a bridge to a primary care doctor.
The commissioners will also review agreements, bids, deposits, donations, purchase orders, and inventory listed on the agenda.
The Pittsburg County Commissioners’ meeting is not on Monday due to Veterans Day, a federal holiday. They will meet at the Pittsburg County Courthouse inside the County Commissioners Conference Room, Room 100B, at 115 E. Carl Albert Parkway Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 9 a.m.
Meetings are open to the public and people may address the commissioners regarding an item on the agenda. Residents must provide their name and address and to speak no more than five minutes.
Comments by the public on items not on the agenda cannot be acknowledged or discussed, but can be placed on an upcoming agenda for discussion and possible action.
