Hi, I need to replace either the broken plate or the entire cover of this TV pistokkeet.

I'm in Oulu and have been to Puuilo and Stark, but couldn't find something suitable. Is there someplace that would have the parts for this? I would rather just buy the outer plastic, not the whole internals, as I wouldn't feel confident wiring that up. Replacing the plastic cover is trivial though.

  1. That is such an old design, that I doubt you will be able to find a replacement in conventional stores.

  2. It is the power socket cover that is broken. You aren’t allowed to replace it by yourself but it is a job for a qualified electrician. If this isn’t your own house, call the maintenance.

  3. I would try Googling “elektroniikkaliike oulu” (electronics shop oulu). I found out companies like “SP-Elektroniikka Oy” and “Pohjois-Suomen elektroniikkakeskus Oy PSEK” which seem like good candidates.

    Then I Googled “antenni oulu” (antenna oulu) and found quite a many antenna related businesses, but “Oulun Seudun Tele & Audio” stands out. Others are more like installation services, which would be able to help, but it would be service.

  4. If you arent an electrician, you dont have permission to do that, and its not your problem anyway, call maintenance, so an electrician will change that

  5. those are ancient style socket covers, you’ll need to get an electrician to replace the socket and cover both as there won’t be anything in stores to replace just the cover.
