  1. We are but SF needs to sort itself out. Past year hasn’t been good for them

  2. Yes I’d say I am. I just hope enough of the rest of the country are too

  3. Once SF were an alternative. Their self sabotage has worked and they are no longer in danger of having to actually govern.

  4. Pearse didn’t get the response he wanted with the Norma Foley free €9 phone case ‘scandal’. SF have already moved on from the faux outrage over it because nobody was buying it.

  5. Look at the head on that, is she palm reading on the side? Vote Madame Mary !!!

  6. The probably is with this election it will be dominated by a huge number of independents and this in turn will just lead to FFG and independents for another however long 🙄

  7. It’s all very exasperating,it would be nice to have some change for once….. everything just gets worse every year with them, surely she can’t do any worse

  8. A range of polls consistently put FG-FF-Greens on 50%, about what they got in the last GE and in the locals during the summer 🤷‍♂️

  9. In fairness, she’s hardly going to come out in favour of them is she?

So much political news is ‘Government criticises Opposition’ or ‘Opposition condemns Government’

Like, yeah, that’s kinda the point of them

  10. Hear come the r/Ireland power users to spew pure wank and tell us that FG/FF is graaaaaand sure

  11. I am exhausted by them, they have been terrible in housing, never getting the fact that the housing problem is much worse than they imagine. (They are not alone in the blame for this, just get the biggest portion of it). FF seems to be not better. It was the biggest issue at the last election and will be one of the biggest issues this time as well.

However I have so many issues with SF and I don’t think they learn from own recent scandals very well either. Independents are single issue and will be big this election in my opinion. And the economy is going to be a big issue this election.

Actually FG might be helped by so many TD’s retiring as it could be presented as a changing of the guard.

  12. I’m exhausted with the whole lot of the major parties

  13. Yeah but I also think a lot of that public don’t have much faith in SF

  14. She is the leader of the main opposition party. Of course she is going to say bad things about FG. No one should be surprised by this.

But attacking another party’s record in government lacks credibility when your party is in shambles.

Sinn Fein would be lucky to maintain some of the gains that they made in the last election as things stand. They do not present a credible alternative to the current status quo, it’s simple as that.

For then to enter government they would rely on a coalition of left and far left parties and independents. Some of which will start a fight with themselves in an empty room, the government would not survive past the first budget.

With Trump re-assuming the presidency in the US and vowing to cut taxes even further as well as implementing policies to take American multinationals back to their homeland we cannot afford and volatile government right now that would raise taxes and drive even more businesses out.

  15. And we in the 6 counties are exhausted by Sinn Fein in government.

  16. The public is exhausted of her open border, gender ideology and terrorist promotion too.
