Only thing stopping me from moving to the USA is how immature they are , oh and I forgot I’d need to sell my kidney to afford it
The UK isn’t much better
So I have always been mature?
Americans are highly paid slaves, their culture is all about work.
So true as a kid I thought the USA sounded like such a great free place to live, maturity kicked in and I wouldn’t want to live there for anything.
I used to dream of living here. Now I dream of Canada and NZ instead.
Saw people talking about how the UK needs Trump in a YouTube comment section. No thanks, they can keep orange Hitler. We don’t want him here.
The UK is by no means perfect but the US makes it look like a paradise.
> Not wanting to move to the USA anymore
Oh look who came crawling back now rapey orange man is in charge 😃
Would love to move to the USA. Probably Texas but no idea how to go about it or convince the wife 😂
I don’t fancy needing to remortgage just to do something like get medical treatment.
Not sure which is worse – the things that Trump & his horror show of a party are planning / likely to do or the fact that such a vast number of Americans knowingly voted for them.
Yeah in the 80s especially perceptions were very different.
Maturity is not wanting to moan about the USA all the time and instead realising that our country isn’t that great either.
Nobel Prize winner, Leon Lederman, sold his Nobel medal to pay a $765,000 medical bill. Yeah, I’ll pass on moving to the US.
As someone who travels there regularly I will always say It’s great for holidays but I will NEVER EVER live there no matter how cheap land is.
So true. Spent a chunk of my youth trying to see how to get a green card. Wised up since then.
Id like to visit but I probably couldn’t stay more than 3 days
I wanted to go to Disney/universal at one point hahahaha
I’ll just go to Disneyland Paris, I’d rather have to deal with Fr*nch people then be anywhere on US soil
America is a young and brash country. They’ve barely begun to form a decent cohesive national identity and it shows. American exceptionalism is something a kid would drum up in school to feel special amongst others
