  1. > While looking back on his career during a recent interview with Letterboxd, Grant recalled an exchange he had with Tarantino where the writer/director shared his adulation for the 2007 musical rom-com “Music and Lyrics.”

    > “He does love that film. I had this weird experience that some do in London: this sweaty person pushed his way through the crowd to me, and it was Quentin Tarantino,” Grant said. “And to my enormous surprise, he said, ‘Oh, man, I love “Music and Lyrics.”’ He said he watched it on a plane, and was so disappointed that the plane landed before the film ended, that he had to quickly go and order it from Blockbuster or something.”

  2. RIP to Adam Schlesinger who wrote the absolute banger of an original song for this, “Way Back Into Love” Guaranteed to stick in your head for days after watching this movie.

  3. That actually was a decent movie. I love movies that portray the music industry for good and bad.

“Begin again” with mark ruffalo and Keira knightley is a really good movie that no one ever talks about

  4. Wonderful film. Romcoms are absolutely not my thing but Music and Lyrics is everything

  5. That movie is oddly way better than it has any need being, I recommend it as one of the few romcoms that are geniunely pretty good. That and Little Black Book.
