My weekend was ruined, I will never recover from this. Can these people think of others before they try to escape persecution, war and civil unrest. The capitalisation of the word “CLOSED” really encapsulates my anger, thank god for the daily mail, the only ones willing to speak truth to power.
Who cares? Their weekend reservations will be refunded and they can make other arrangements. This is hardly a noteworthy tragedy.
I see the Daily Mail has brought back their “capitalise random words in the headline” thing again.
The whole asylum policy is fucked and the residents are feeling the heat of it.
So what, he owns a hotel, signed a contract with the government…..how many times has this happened before? There’s literally thousands of hotels filled up with immigrants
I understand anger over this due to the money cost etc.
But the tenuous link to the BBC is just points scoring. The DM don’t actually care about the money or human cost here.
I love how they shoe horned ‘former BBC director general’ into the title lol
I understand the concerns around increasing migration.
But at the same time any talk of decreasing migrations should also include limiting our involvement in proxy wars that destabilise the areas, such as Syria.
