I’m fascinated by American politics and some of the crazies in it. Who in their right mind gets a politician tattoo? Is anyone up for a Rishi or Starmer tattoo? How about a Boris themed wedding?
Except it wasn’t. Idea, so, either pre-cooked meme, or you’re just a bit of a wank.
Disregarding that this is an agedlikemilk 2020 EU spin on an agedlikemilk 2020 trump meme:
A Trump win is a geopolitical disaster for Europe and the UK. For Europe, Trump is anti-NATO and has repeatedly said he would invite Russia to invade European countries due to his belief they don’t buy enough hardware from American arms manufacturers. Britain has the same issue but with the added threat of American tariffs making Britain economically exposed given the trade isolation inflicted by Brexit. And of course with the mutually supporting links between the American and British and European far right parties, and their increased electoral strength (and increased boldness in street violence in the UK) a Trump win means more credibility and more resources for our own Trumplike candidates. Net result: a poorer and less secure Europe and Britain with more internal political tensions.
Like, “haha silly orange man, doesn’t affect us though” should have been put in the dirt when Russia invaded Ukraine.
Sadly more of a Jacobean Revengers Tragedy with bodies everywhere.
