  5. The replacement will be worse. He was great . He should have stayed out of politics. Respect him for standing up for his opinions but he shouldn’t have done it on the BBC . At least not a football show.

  23. It’s a shame, the rapport he has with other ex-pros and the respect older pundits (and managers) have for him is clear. I remember one BBC line up when it was him, Shearer, Vialli and Klinsmann I think, brilliant seeing all these top, top centre forwards sitting around chewing the fat, I somehow doubt it’ll be as good with another presenter in his place.
