While the recent US election results were as heartbreaking as they were worrying for what they mean for the world over the next four years and beyond, now is probably as good a time as any to remind ourselves how blessed we are to have this legend as our president.

And yes, that's himself chatting away to a lad and his parrot in Salthill like this is a normal everyday thing. 😀

  7. If you are going to compare countries it would make more sense to implore us to be thankful for Simon Harris as our leader as opposed to Trump? Michael D is powerless.

    But sucking off Simon Harris wouldn’t be as popular I guess. Not compared to the cuddly and cute Michael D.

  12. Honestly, he’s a national treasure. I know he has almost zero executive power, but as a head of state in that position, we couldn’t ask for someone better. His Xmas speeches are a thing of wonder, and they help me feel more connected to home, as I live overseas for the time being. I was home for the rugby on Friday night, and when he came out to meet the players, the roar he got from the crowd was just incredible. Absolute scenes.
