  6. We Europeans have to realize that the “end of history” never happened and we’re in a new Cold War in which our main ally is focused on China and not our security. We have to be able to defend ourselves and our interests.

  9. The last time i checked the last decades everyone was either bitching about Germany not spending enough on the defense budget or screamed bloody murder if Germany dared to up the budget in some way, crying that Germany was going full militarism again.

    Should’ve shown some trust, we know the best routes to invade East by now!

  10. He wasn’t in favour of a united European army. Wanting France’s military to be more independent of the US + wanting more European economic cooperation isn’t the same thing.
