This delivery note is driving me mad! This is all the postie wrote, but I can't work out what is written for the life of me… Any ideas?

  1. Brown pouch, runny bum. If you find a brown pouch on your doorstep, for the love of god, don’t open it…

  2. What do you mean? It clearly says: Bruh pakch rwny duun.

  3. More importantly did you find the delivered item? That’ll give us a clue. Where was it?

  4. Bush parcel round door?

Looks like my 74 year old mums handwriting and she has parkinsons.

  5. Can’t you read? It obviously says:

    “BruvJ PAKCR” and “RuuND nuun”

  6. The real beauty here is the Postie crossing out their first attempt at… “parcel” (?) because they didn’t think it’d be understood.

  7. Jokes aside you should really give your local RM feedback about this.

  8. Let me just get my enigma machine out to decipher that

  9. No one else thinking it looks like ’round noon’?

  10. They wrote the first “parcel” a little too legible for their own liking so had to cross it out to make it less decipherable, lol & i know it’s probably a little late now, but as others have said (Bruni pauch, Rnun7 Duun) would translate from Royal Mailese to:
    Brown parcel, front door.

  11. It’s so sad that the NHS is is such a state that doctors have to take second jobs as postpersons

  12. I absolutely love that he crossed one of the words out when he made a mistake. Then continued to write illegible drivel.

  13. My esteemed Householder,

I trust this note finds you well. Pray be informed that your parcel has been duly deposited in your designated place of safekeeping. Should you desire any further particulars, kindly dispatch a telegram at your convenience.

    Yours with the utmost respect,
    Your Humble Postman

  14. Got it on first read, thanks to my super power of dyslexia

  15. Brurw parcol, Roun’t Duun.

Sorry, my dwarvish is rustier than Balin’s axe.

  16. Your safe place is brown. Your neighbour is at the front door with a paunch.

  17. ✓ your safe place: BROWN

    ~~PARCEL~~

    your neighbour at: PARCEL

    FRONT

    DOOR Total items: 1

  18. At this point it’s the white/gold, blue/black dress situation – is it ’round noon’ or ‘front door’?
