He was 22 years old when the full-scale war began; he returned to Ukraine and joined the military.
"I’m a physically strong 22-year-old guy, so I can help not only with my thoughts but by being in my country, fighting. Finances and moral support are important too, but I can be more useful through my direct assistance.
Who will defend Ukraine if everyone only sends money and offers words of support without taking action? Who will use the weapons bought with these collected funds if everyone flees the country?"
He was killed in September 2024.

"Those were hard times, the Muscovites reigned.
The Ukrainian language, name, and church they destroyed.
The men didn’t want to endure it, they knew well,
That the Muscovites hadn’t taken everything from Ukraine yet.
On the holy day of Unity [of Ukraine], they took the blue-and-yellow flag
In good old Chortkiv, the men held it in their hands."
Excerpt from a song by Vasyl Marmus about the Rosokhach Group.
