  1. Makes sense. I always viewed the Kursk invasion more of a way to have a bargaining chip for a cease fire where they could exchange it back for Ukranian land than as a way to divert resources. Maybe that wasn’t the plan at the time but it could be very useful if this goes to the negotiation table.

  2. October 1st is the deadline.he didn’t which year. 4d chess.genius.

  3. It’s because Trump and Putin have already worked it out that Trump will force Ukraine to accept a peace deal whereby current territories will be retained by whoever controls them now.

Putin has to retake Kursk before this happens.

  4. Kursk is Ukraine’s only bargaining chip. Although they did not capture anything of consequence, it still is Russian territory. Putin cannot save face with the Russian people if he has negotiate for their return.

  5. I don’t blame Putin one bit. Imagine Kursk being in Ukraine hands when Trump takes office. That’s one hell of a chip that Zelinsky can show off. “See, we’re still strong, look at how he mocks your wife…” on and on. Zelinsky should use his former career to spin platitudes to Trump.

  6. He gave orders to take Kyiv in 3 days, he gave orders and gave orders and….. no matter the cost of lives on own side a⚡️⚡️ well.

  7. Dam, going to be a lot of causualties on the russian side, but they don’t seem to care. 50K troop for one region.. Dam.

  8. Gonna be one heckuva large Russo-Korean meat stew soaking into that Kursk battlefield.

  9. Is this the third deadline or the fourth, I’m confused

  10. Let’s war game this:

Trump says to Zelensky, “No more US aid unless you agree to a cease-fire with current territories”

Knowing this will happen the fronts will be an absolute bloodbath in January.  Russia pushing to take Kursk Oblast and Kiev resisting or pushing elsewhere (Crimea?).

Lets say Russia takes Kursk Oblast back.  I don’t think Zelensky agrees to cease fire.  I think he tries to keep going with European aid.  We need to think about not just supplies but the Intel the US provides.  Can Europe make up the gap?  Can Ukraine survive without US support?

Does this strategy actually escalate as the local European countries decide they need to get more directly involved if the US is extricating itself?  What would Poland do?  Do they start shooting down missiles over Ukraine?

  11. Just jeep moving the goalposts, eventually it’ll be retake Moscow by xxxxx

  12. 50000 troops, 1700 per day….. 29 days folks. Will they all be dead in just 29 days?

  13. He should wait till then but because mear grinder.

  14. That confirms Trump will say to End the war at current front line. If Russia don’t take it back Ukraine will keep it I guess

Not that I see Ukraine stopping the fight on Trump’s word.

  15. If this is true and the Russian military has been ordered to charge ahead and take the losses I can only imagine Putin might be willing to talk a ceasefire at the very least but doesn’t want any original Russian territory to be part of it.

It’s going to be absolutely hell for the Ukrainian front line there and everywhere else. Not that it isn’t already hell but the only bright side I see is that Russia will be even more reckless and the ratio of Russian to Ukrainian losses should be higher provided they don’t get overwhelmed.

  16. Trump just picked a bunch of hawks for his administration. They’re going to be good for Ukraine.
