Russia is looking/maneuvering to retake Kursk very soon. Hope UAF has plans to defend or withdraw or whatnot. I dont think they can hold the territory they have taken for very long with a concentratedRuA effort. This is an embarrassing situation for Putin and he will throw however many lives at it as he deems necessary. Glory to Ukraine.
Could have been a PARM off-route mine. I’d say more likely TBH. Whatever it was penetrated right through and out the other side, which is commonly seen when EFP hits something. I assume it is possible that a shaped charge can do same, but I have never seen it. Also, the range is about right for a PARM.
It appears Russia fully expects that there will be discussions and pressure to end the war by freezing the lines, and so are going all out in Kursk.
As such, not caring about their own or NK soldiers one bit, but on the other hand unwilling to surrended one inch of mother Russia, the pressure from up top will be relentless. Get Kursk back at any price.
From what I understand, Ukraine isn’t dug in very well, nor are the lines stabilized, so with huge manpower and probably as much airpower and drone assets they can spare, Russia will make progress. I hope Ukraine is fully aware of what is coming and have something up their sleeve.
For example ample supply weapons and equipment that can attack the staging areas, halt the armored assaults, and take out the survivors. For example DPICM cluster munition warheads for both GMLRS and 155mm artillery. RAAMS shells for remote mining. Drones of every type, from Switchblade 600 to FPV to Baba Yaga. Queen Hornet in range extender configuration. And as much EW as they can get their hands on, as the Russian FPV drones will be relentless.
If Russia fails to dislodge Ukraine from Kursk, and suffer massive losses of equipment and manpower in the process, Ukraine will be in a much better negotiating position.
I may be wrong but to me The video looks like the beginning of the one that was posted a week or so ago, where it shows a Ukrainian running out from the left of the building & straight murking like 3 of them Russians
They are surround Kursk, they have 50.000 mans outside Kursk ready to enter on this attack, ukraine need to think what is the best reforce ir withdraw.
