  1. So strange. If it’s the same fella he was previously eliminated from Garda enquires. Looks like something changed.

  2. wow wouldn’t it be amazing to be able to say 2024 was the year that brought resolution for the families of jojo dullard *and* tina satchwell

  3. Be interesting to know who he’s related to. The poor woman suffered and then had her name dirtied by the Gardai . I hope she gets justice

  4. I know this is completely inconsequential but as an aside, I could have sworn her name was “Dollard”, I did a quick Google there and for years it was reported as that spelling?

  5. She went missing in 1995 but it took til 2020 for the case to but upgraded to murder. That says it all, doesn’t it?

  6. At what time….must AGS release him without charge or charge him.

Note that he would not be named until he’s been charged and has appeared in court charged with an offence.

  7. I often drove past the phone box in moone back before the road changed and think about her and wonder what happened, the song ” on every street” by dire straits always reminds me of the women of the vanishing triangle.

There’s gotta be a record of you some place,
You gotta be on somebody’s books.
The lowdown – a picture of your face,
    Your injured looks,
    The sacred and profane,
    The pleasure and the pain,
    Somewhere your fingerprints remain concrete.
And it’s your face I’m looking for on every street

  8. You have to wonder how many investigations/prosecustions in Ireland are completely messed up by sheer incompetence of the Garda.

I was a member of a jury this year in a rape/sexual assualt case. The trial was called to a halt by the judge afer the investigating Garda outlined what they failed to do as part of the investigation. It was staggering. The victimes were so badly let down and also the accussed. How it came to court, you would have to ask the DPP.
I am convinced the Garda lied to the court under oath to cover themselves as he outlined what they suppossedly did as part of the investigation and the reasons why didn’t have certain evidence.

There is way too many unsolved cases out there across the spectrum of offences, it can’t all be down to criminal masterminds covering their tracks each time.
