I hate all these brand activations. Worst ones are the wacky ones aimed for social media coverage. âTesco is opening a pub!â âGreggs has a sausage roll atm!â.
I can already imagine the meeting where they’ll all pat each other on the back showing off hi res photos and videos of a fake crowd, skimming over the fact that no one actually cared/then considered to watch the movie, and actually some people got fully put off by the disruption.
Everything is advertising! I hate it!
Hah I literally just had the Ethiopian stall on Sunday. The pickle topping made my bowl too salty but it was otherwise quite tasty.
Also it took me like 30 minutes to find a publicly accessible toilet in Greenwich. The Cutty Sark one was closed and I didnât realise the market didnât have one. None of the buildings near the Cutty Sark had one without a ticket. I eventually found the one tucked away in Painted Hall â was a lifesaver.
The Ethiopian food at Greenwich Market is incredible. I also highly rated the (lamb) Kathi rolls.
I can’t see both of her eyes in that picture. How am I supposed to care or something?
The city has turned into a giant turd of ads mixed with tourists. Just awfulÂ
Itâs funny seeing these guys being a mewp in there. Whomever GM hires to hang those terrible fairy lights just does it off of scaff towers.
This Wicked promotion seems to have been going on for years. Exhausted out of wanting to see it!
I really resent it when these companies take something over to the detriment of the everyday users. I canât imagine itâs that effective either. âHey haha weâve renamed your Tube station and itâs not clear where you actually are! Anyway, now weâve irritated you, buy our product.â
You should go complain on their movie website, I think it was just the movie name dot com or something
>!/s don’t do this, it’s nsfw!<
GreenWitch is such an awful piece of marketing when you think about it. If youâre from the area you know that it isnât pronounced that way, so it doesnât work as a pun. But as those of us familiar with the area know, tourists mainly frequent the market and they always mispronounce it as âgreen witchâ. So, I suppose this is aimed at them..? And, please let me know if you do, but neither I nor anyone I know has ever gone to another country and thought, Iâm going to waste time at the pictures.
Wat?
Fucking Wicked, it’s not even good. Get out of our faces already.
Given how much money they’re spending to market this film, I can only conclude that it’s terrible and it’s going to absolutely crash at the box office.
Well now you can have Oztralian
I hate this shit
Damn that lentil soup hits hard. I was about to go too
The Fudge patch is the best fudge in the UK hands down. Also that sucks that they’d close it for marketing
I have previously craved Ethiopian food only to be disappointed to not find the stall at Greenwich market that day, so if *this* had been the reason, I’d have been extra annoyed.
Those Ethiopian samosas are something else
I went to my friends for some Ethiopian food not to long ago, he just gave me an empty plate
I don’t like it but as someone who lives in the borough I do hope the money helps the council. Although they said it’ll cover Sparkle in the Park at the end of the month but I would hope it covers a hell of a lot more than that.

Merkamo!?
I ordered some groceries the other day and they substituted a few things, one of which left me with a bottle of Wicked-branded [sparkly green piss](https://www.thegrocer.co.uk/news/robinsons-launches-duo-of-wicked-inspired-squash-drinks/696561.article) to drink. I wasn’t going to see it anyway but now I’m *really* not.
