  1. After leaving his takeaway job, Cheema was employed as a Bus Eireann Expressway driver but he lost his job due to publicity associated with this case.

  2. I read stuff like this after that article about women in Cork carrying Deep Heat for self-defense, and it makes total sense that they do. What other choice do you have when the justice system doesn’t even protect you?

  3. This guy obviously didn’t attend when someone said “Be there or be square”.

  4. I’m sorry but a fully suspended sentence, is our prison capacity that bad? Shouldn’t it be like a month or two just so he gets a sense of what could be waiting for him? I am very confused at our justice system

  5. His partner was pregnant when he sexually assaulted this poor girl too. He’s a piece of shit!

  6. Don’t know how many times I’ve seen Helen McEntee blab about Ireland having ‘zero tolerance for domestic, sexual and gender based violence’

But this is the reality. The state won’t protect you.

No sentence and no deportation in the case of foreign offenders. There’s nothing for criminals to fear in Ireland.
