Majority of Finns now say “Yes” to joining NATO, according to a gallup from state owned news outlet’s YLE

    The question was: “Should Finland join to be a member of the military alliance NATO?”

    Sample size was 1382 citizens from ages 18-80 year old.

    Collection of answers was started on February 23rd, a day before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and ended on 25th.

    The gallup was conducted by Taloustutkimus, a market research company.

    The previous gallup by YLE conducted a year ago had only 19% for joining, while a gallup by Taloustutkimus from January of this year had 30% for joining.
