That must be where my local fish and chip shop gets its potatoes from.
Not just potatoes but many other staples too. The official inflation level of 9% is a fabrication and the situation is far worse than the Kremlin is admitting. If the US and Europe would just enforce sanctions properly, Russia would be desperate for an end to the war. As it is, they are just hurting but their economic situation is growing steadily worse…
He’s lucky there is no Fox News in Russia. He would have been voted out of office.

Just hold out Ukrain, we are starving the bear whilst we choke it together
Maybe tRump should go there and demand the price of potatoes should come down. Isn’t that what he’s going to do when January comes, tell all of the grocery stores to lower their prices?
Bit like canada then.
I’m seeing groceries that are much higher raised prices here in the USA… Some items are nearly 4 times more than I paid just a few years ago with higher prices and lower amounts in the packaging (shrinkflation)
The ordinary Russian citizens seem to have no problem at all with that.
The high inflation weakens the ruble, which increases the price of imported goods in Russia.
*Russia’s prosecutor general launches investigation into rising milk prices*
*Earlier, Vedomosti reported that Wimm-Bill-Dann Foods, one of Russia’s largest milk producers, which is owned by the American company PepsiCo, informed retailers of a roughly 3.4 percent increase in wholesale milk prices starting November 1. A month earlier, another producer, Ecomilk, had also warned of a price hike, raising prices by 10 percent. The companies cited “external factors” and the “progressive growth” of raw material and overhead costs as reasons for the increases.*
*Butter prices in Russia have also surged by more than 20 percent since the beginning of the year.*

Mad Vlad, stay away from windows…..
No, that’s correct economics… Everybody else is doing it wrong
Now if only the Russian population would not a bunch of apathetic cowards….
64% is a lot but these are potatoes. Cheapest food there is.
This is what will end the war… not on the battlefield but in banks and grocery stores.
One morning we will wake up and suddenly shit will hit the fan in Russia
They can eat cake instead
The borscht is getting thinner
He learned from Biden on how to manage inflation.
Fuck, please don’t sell out Ukraine trump🤞🏻. Wanna see this midgets world collapse
This is irrelevant.
Russians are used to a hard life, the people in power don’t care about the common Russian and the common Russian will never revolt against Putin.
That’s because they’re sending all of their fertilizer to Ukraine.
Russia imports Potatoes primarily from: Egypt ($127M), Azerbaijan ($33.4M), China ($12M), Israel ($4.92M), and Netherlands ($3.52M).
Wow there is whole service about potatoes news

Now that trumps president, tariffs will fix Russias potato prices
There is a simple way to end this war. Allow deep strikes into Russia. Why? Deep strikes will damage russian infrastructure, economy and drive the price of Ruble down. Currently the war is not fair, even Russia can damage Ukrainian economy and not get the same in return.
Are they? They are pretty cheap. Maybe in relative amount but in absolute they are cheap. Basic food is cheap.
That’s not an equation that’s going to work forever. They’re full steam ahead against a brick wall. This war will end in mass unrest and protest. As is tradition in Russia.
