We’ve seen far too many articles coming out with journalists getting themselves into a masturbatory frenzy about going to war, yet barely any about the severe consequences of just a *single* modern day nuke going off on European soil.

The Russians were literally laughing at her and taking the piss during the after talks press conference. UK diplomacy in this matter has been a dis-grace. Just unproductive ‘tough talk’ to appeal to the domestic audience. Good job the Russians don’t take us seriously because this approach could have made them dig in their heels some more.

Well I think something good may have come of this – I am reasonably certain that Liz now knows where the Ukraine is.

That’s a good one! Only Conservatives would believe she has done a decent job. Honestly, her threats of further sanctions made her look like a fool. You don’t travel to a country with a stockpile of ~6,400 nukes and the 2nd most powerful army in the world just to say “If you don’t do X we will unleash a zillion sanctions that will trash your economy and make your life miserable”. What if Putin says OK, enough with the West, I’m going to nuke them all to oblivion?
Don’t, if Russia pull back Tories will chalk it down to a win for them.
