The flight connecting BNA and Reykjavík will operate via a B737-800 MAX aircraft, with seating for 160 passengers. The approximately seven-hour flight will be offered on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, with the release not noting when in 2025 the seasonal service will cease.

The service will connect BNA to Reykjavík Airport and Icelandair’s European network of cities, including Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen, London and Paris, among others.

“We are very pleased to see the great popularity of this new connection between Nashville and Iceland, from our customers in Iceland as well as on both sides of the Atlantic,” Tomas Ingason, Icelandair chief commercial officer, said in the release.

“This new connection links Music City to Iceland as well as onwards to our 34 destinations in Europe and we look forward to welcoming Nashville on board.”
