> France has said it was “betrayed”, “stabbed in the back” and “deceived” over Australia’s decision to dump a French-backed submarine project worth up to $A90bn (£48bn).
Seriously, what allies use these words? France has turned into such a pathetic country under Macron.
Hope Australia told the manchild to go fuck himself.
France is such a baby
I remember when France wasn’t perceived as a small whinging nation, but a powerful European nation.
Macron has certainly made sure he won’t take over from Merkel.
Macron has so much small pee-pee energy
Why are all these english people commenting agressive stuff ?
The way Australia dealt with this was horrible and does make them untrustworthy for long-term projects. This is expected from the LNP though such as their debacle with the NBN.
The deal was 5 years in the work and had gone from an expected cost of AUD$55B to AUD$90B and growing. Likely due to the LNPs incompetence again.
The UK and US are now getting involved in the submarine deal with Australia instead and I’m sure we are likely to see costs balloon as LNP muppets pocket money on wasteful ideas.
France is so pathetic. No country should act like this because an ally wanted a different contract.
Weak and whiny.
Christ is he still going on about it!
What the fuck is this comment section?
And who the hell wrote that article? It is so disjointed, barely readable.
Either this post has been taken over by anglos or Europeans actually take the party of non-EU countries over EU countries.
One of those is more worrying than the other.
Oh no didums, France and trust seems strange bedfellows.
I can taste the salt from a particular group of Redditors.
It’s crazy how no one understand that it is just a game of negociations. Of course France will overplay the “you betray us” card for other negociations on which it can take a piece of cake.
Any countries will do the same, any company.
