  1. SS: The Modi government on Thursday said that it is following up with an extradition request for Khalistani separatist and designated terrorist Arsh Dalla, who was recently arrested in Canada amid fraught ties between New Delhi and Ottawa.

While releasing a statement on the same, the Ministry of External Affairs noted that in July 2023, India had requested Canada for Dalla’s provisional arrest, which it said had been “declined” at the time.

  2. Deccan Herald is one of the most independent source in India with years of standard setting journalism. Saying this before someone starts slinging mud on it (for reasons obvious, highlighting that in plain terms would definitely lead to a ban). Here is the CTV link informing the same.

  3. I can’t help but wonder, who were they in a gunfight with?

This could just be some random gunfight, but it could also be yet another attempt to kill somebody that India accuses of being a terrorist.

Edit, from the c t v article posted below.

    >In late October, police in Halton, Ont. posted a press release(opens in a new tab) alleging that two men involved in a shooting in Milton, Ont., had been “charged with discharging firearm with intent” shortly after they arrived at a hospital in Guelph, Ont., because one of them had been shot.

One of the two men charged arrived at hospital with a gunshot wound, who shot them?

  4. Obviously not going to happen, they’ll have to figure out another way to extrajudicially murder him.

  5. Can’t wait to see the next US press briefing on this matter.
