Hey guys after moving I realised in this winter that its pretty bad situations with the radiators. No fluid is working and no brush is doing enough job.
Only solution is to remove the upper cover but I dont know how to remove them.
As from picture you can see there are two types in my wohnung. One is with the small holes on sides and one without any. How can I remove the covers?

Did you already try to pull the top upwards with mild force? Normally they are held in place by clamps and will just pop off.
Just pull the top cover up.
Use brutal force and pull
Look like you might need to press the side thing in and then lift the top part.
You don’t need to take it off, you only need a pressure washer, clean it all out with pressure and enjoy the mess you made. So before you do anything cover everything with something.
In my experience some of those do not lift of. I have a similiar one in the bedroom an resorted to cleaning it by taping up the bottom and using a hair dryer to get most dust out, then flushing out the rest with lots of hot water. Set up a container below the heater then pour water in from the top.
Messy, but i didnt want to damage the heater by further trying to get the top off.
Toss some hot water in it with some good smelling detergent. It cleans itself. You only need to take the water away below and the many dustbunnies
Some radiators have a hidden screw in/under the “sign” beneath the bleeding valve. If you can get your fingernails under the rectangular sign and use it as a screw-head and turn counterclockwise it loosens the hooks that hold the top. I can’t say for sure that it is that mechanic in your case but check it maybe.
edit: zooming the pic it seems not to work in your case, because even if that is the mechanic people painting over it have “melted” it all together.
Most radiators arent meant to be opened without disconneting them from the pipes
Slide down the side panel. The the rest will come loose.
For the unreachable inlay i use compressed Air spray
